Abdullah Benabdallah CH

Behind the “keys” of E.L.F. is Abdullah Benabdallah, who has a degree in Computer Science and Ethnomusicology. At the age of 16 he played string instruments in an Andalusian orchestra in Algeria. A juerga (an improvised flamenco performance) in Barcelona proved to be a defining moment for him musically, and it induced him to study flamenco guitar: at Merengue de Córdoba and with Antonio Flores in Andalusia. Numerous live and TV performances followed in Spain and Switzerland, in which he accompanied such renowned dance troupes as Antonio Alcazar and Marivi Palacios. Visits to various rave parties awakened his interest for electronic music (Goa trance, progressive house, minimal). He decided to process music with the computer and gradually switched to the electronic production of music. www.electroflamenco.com
